Shadow

In a place of darkness
Where I consolidate myself
Into contour of a 5’4” frame
And fill the weight of 122lbs
Having read the description as prescribed
By my tangible dimension
I felt assured of the ineptitude
Of the measure of a man
For in such darkness
One can neither perceive nor believe
The timbre of one’s visage
Nor the human distinction.
